Property Maintenance

Property maintenance keeps your landscaping and yard in the best shape, but it is something you may not want to deal with. With our more than 15 years in the New Jersey area, let us take care of it for you and have your yard looking great all year.

Your lawn is likely the first thing people see when they pull up to your yard. But if property maintenance has not been done and it’s not in great shape, it may not create a very welcoming appearance. With the seasonal changes here in the Northeast, lawn maintenance can be tough to keep up with, and that is where we come in. We can take care of everything from fertilization to pesticide applications to lawn treatments to keep it looking green, to everything in between.

Another aspect of property maintenance can including mulching. It not only improves the appearance of your lawn, but it can protect you plants. By keeping weed growth limited, it reduces the chance for weeds to strangle out your plants, and it can serve as a cushion to your plants when lawnmowers or weed eaters are used near them. It also conserves moisture and maintains temperature, thus helping your soil. It is important to not overuse mulch, though, because roots can tend to grow in the mulch instead of the soil. We know the proper amounts of mulch that should be put into your yard as part of your property maintenance and can ensure that your plants and soil are kept safe.

Spring and fall cleanups are also essential parts of property maintenance to keep your yard healthy. The first thing that should be done in the spring is to remove any garden debris from the previous year, such as leaves blown between shrubs. And once your yard is dry, shrubs and trees can be pruned if needed. Fertilizer, too, should be applied in the spring, as should mulch. And though spring cleanups are done in preparation of the growing season ahead, fall cleanups are for getting the yard ready for the next year’s growth. As part our fall cleanup property maintenance, we will take a walk through your property and see how they fared over the summer, especially evaluating any annuals, perennials, trees and shrubs. We will remove any dead annuals and fallen flower heads, dead branches and leaves and garden debris, as well as prune plants that are due for it in the fall. We also will ensure that any insect pests are treated. This is also the time when bulbs, perennials and shrubs should be planted so their roots can become established before winter.

Tree and shrub care is another piece of property maintenance service that we offer. Again, making sure pests have not invaded your trees and plants is critical, and we can also take care of any pruning or trimming that needs to be done.

Property maintenance can be a lot of work and also very physically demanding, so let us take care of it for you.
